This born & bred Central Queenslander made 2 life-changing decisions when he was 18 years of age.
- He fell in love with his high school sweetheart Maureen
- He bought his first investment property.
The past 3 ½ decades have seen ‘Team Allwood’ fight the odds, building successful businesses, property wealth and raising two amazing children, including one with very special needs.
Having been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in his own practice for 13 years and 16 years in Investment Property Marketing, his passion is helping “Everyday Aussies” create a better future, without losing their lifestyle in the process.

Maureen started her career as a Registered nurse, something that’s come in handy being married to Tim!
She decided to join Tim in managing their Financial Planning Company and added a Financial Planning qualification to her Resume.
The time came for them to relocate to the Gold Coast to provide access to better health facilities for their daughter…and a beach for Tim to get back into his Surf Lifesaving. Burleigh is home now, and Maureen loves the healthy lifestyle.
She can be found each morning at the Gym with the girls, or down at the beach.
Maureen somehow manages to juggle fitness, work, motherhood and keeping Tim on the straight and narrow.
The hideous looking green concoction in the drink bottle on her desk, may have something to do with her superpowers…we’ll take her word on that!

The son of a Gold Coast Real Estate Agent, By the age of 10, Doug knew more about Property than most adults…
He tried other career paths, but found that Property is in his DNA and has happily settled into his true calling in life.
Doug has seen first hand how powerful smart property investing can be in creating that security and lifestyle we all crave.
His absolute passion is mentoring younger generations in getting started on their investment journey so they can benefit from his decades of experience and by-pass the mistakes most people make when starting out on their own.
Chris has 18 years experience as an investment property consultant.
Chris is passionate about finding the right property for our clients, reviewing industry data regarding market cycles and building relationships with developers, builders and managers to ensure our clients access quality products at the right price. Putting our clients FIRST, educating clients on what is possible for them is key, not only to our success, but to the success of each client.
When not reviewing property for our clients Chris can be seen strumming one of his many guitars or snorkelling in the deep blue sea.

Anna works in the office as our Client Services Manager.
Anna will oversee the whole process of your build and is there to answer any questions you have.
Once your build starts Anna will be in regular contact with updates and assistance at each build stage, right up until your property is tenanted.
From the moment you engage with Compass Property Investing we want to feel looked after and comfortable that everything is being taken care of so you can enjoy your journey to building your investment portfolio.
When not looking after our clients, Anna is a busy mum with 3 kids.

We all love to sit back while Korey works the technology out for us…It’s very therapeutic and we would be lost without him.
Despite his age, he has already completed three Kokoda Trail endurance runs, so he is well respected in both ‘Tech’ and ‘Endurance’.
